1766 Poland-Lithuania Taler - Stanislaus August Poniatowski - Rare Silver Coin

For sale is an original Polish-Lithuanian taler from the year 1766, issued under the reign of

Stanislaus August Poniatowski. The obverse features a detailed portrait of the king with the inscription "STANISLAUS AUGUSTUS D.G. REX POL. M.D. LITHU." The reverse displays the elaborate Polish-Lituanian coat of arms, topped with a crown, along with Latin inscriptions.

This historic silver coin is a highly sought-after collector's item.
